HELLO!

I’m Denise Ditto Satterfield

Happy New Year, Batina Fans! 🎉

New Year’s Goals for 2026

We’re excited to share what we have planned for 2026! This year is going to be filled with new adventures and opportunities for you to follow Batina and the Tooth Collector Fairies on even more magical journeys. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:

  1. Publish and Launch Lucas and the Magic Well
My top priority for 2026 is releasing the newest Tooth Collector Fairies adventure, Lucas and the Magic Well. I can’t wait to share this story with readers and celebrate its launch together!
  2. Double Our Events
In 2026, I plan to double the number of events I attend. That means visiting new libraries, schools, bookstores, festivals, and community spaces to meet readers in person and introduce new audiences to the Tooth Collector Fairies.
  3. Create More Blog Posts
I want to post more frequently on the blog to share behind-the-scenes glimpses of my writing life—how stories are created, where ideas come from, and yes… why it’s not always easy. My hope is to encourage young readers, writers, and parents along the way.
  4. Explore Animation and AI for Social Media
I’d like to explore using AI tools to create simple animated content for social media. This will be a learning process as I review different tools, but I’m excited about the possibility of bringing the fairies to life in new ways.
  5. Collaborate with Libraries, Schools, and Literacy Groups
Seek new partnerships for readings, workshops, and literacy events that promote a love of reading and storytelling.
  6. Introduce New Merchandise
Continue developing fun Tooth Collector Fairies merchandise that complements the books and delights young fans.
  7. Continue to Share via Social Media
Share updates, event announcements, fun fairy news, so readers can stay connected between book releases.

We can’t wait to continue this journey with all of you in 2026. Your support and enthusiasm make it all possible. Here’s to another year of tooth fairy magic, growth, and adventure!

Stay tuned for more details and thank you for being such an important part of the Tooth Collector Fairies family! 💖✨

Batina’s Best First Day is a skillfully written children’s story that teaches several important lessons: Always do your best, accept other people’s differences, never give up and (of course) brush your teeth!

This story is adorable and whimsical, and kids will love those fairies. The illustrations are enchanting and give good pace and movement to the story, breathing life into the characters.

Ditto underlines the importance of well-brushed teeth from a tooth fairy’s point of view, an intriguing choice since children are generally more interested in what the collector leaves under their pillows.

Tooth Fairy Day Celebration is a fun series installment that’s less focused on dental hygiene and more on magical hijinks.

What happens when a tooth fairy collects a rotten tooth? Nothing sweet! Children and those who love to read to them are sure to love the second book in the Tooth Collector Fairies series and be sure to brush better as a result!
