Martin’s Episcopal Church. It serves as the primary fundraiser for the Community Outreach
Grants that are distributed through St. Martin’s Outreach Ministry to local charities concerned
with the welfare of Houston’s most disadvantaged. In 2021, Community Outreach Grants were
awarded to 37 faith-based local agencies that address a wide range of issues such as human
trafficking, senior care, at-risk children and youth, prisoner rehabilitation, homelessness, hunger
and mental health. Merchant participation in the Joy of Giving Market is the major component of
this important fundraising effort.
